2 Month Check Up

Just when Lincoln decided that the pediatrician's office wasn't that bad, we sprung 5 immunizations on him...involving 4 shots. He is still recovering from them at home. On the bright side, he is doing a great job growing. He is now 11 lbs 7 oz (50%) and 22.5 inches (25-50%).

Dr. Layton and the Cupcake

Today Lincoln got to meet Dr Layton. He's the doctor that delivered him almost 2 months ago. Almost 7 months ago, Dr Layton did a quick ultrasound during one of the check ups to see if Lincoln was going to be a boy or a girl. He wrote it down on a piece of paper while Mom and Dad looked away. Then, we took the folded paper to GiGi's cupcakes where we had preordered one blue filled and one pink filled cupcake. The attendant got the paper, went in back and brought us just one very special cupcake. Roldy put on his snappy big brother shirt and we cut inside. And the night was delicious.

We're Walking

It was finally cool enough to go for a walk outside today! We walked down the greenbelt in our neighborhood - Between the two lakes - And past the brand new park equipment. Most of the walk was spent in drooly contemplation, but Lincoln finally dozed off when we were almost home.

Well Rested

Last night Lincoln slept from his 11:30 pm feeding until it was time to get up at 7:30 am. Mom and Dad were thrilled! ...after they made sure he was OK and then double checked that the monitor had not been muted.

Baby Nikes

No outfit is complete without the proper footgear. (That's right, pants are optional.)

Thanks for the sweet kicks Schneider family!

New Friends

Lincoln went to his first play group with the Tukee (Ahwatukee) Mamas today. He said hello and then napped through most of it.

Modeling

Last September, Mom traded the huge red push plane she was selling at a vintage market for a free newborn photoshoot. Today we were able to cash in on the trade and took pictures all around the house. Lincoln did a great job posing and was able to do some awake and some sleeping. Mom, Dad and Roldy even got in on a bunch. We can't wait to see the results, but got a sneak peek already on Facebook.
