Today was Lincoln's first wellness check up. He wasn't fond of the inspection. His weight had dropped too low from his birth weight so the pediatrician said that we should start supplementing with formula. She asked us to come in two days later for a weight check and she wanted to take another listen to his heart murmur.
*Lincoln hadn't gained back enough weight at the second appointment so we needed to add even more formula to his feedings. The Dr. also said that his heart murmur was louder and that she would like to check that again after he had put on some weight in the next few days. She thought it could be louder because he was dehydrated.
*We went back in and the murmur was softer. Two of the doctors at the Pediatricians office listened and both thought it was nothing to worry about, but a visit to the cardiologist is necessary to see what is causing it and to start tracking it.
