Spring Preserve was a huge win today and we spent most of the day there.
Minivan lunch picnic in Spring Reserve parking lot.
They had the coolest play ground!
Gwen and Lincoln are both turning into great climbers.

Right after this, Gwen took off on her own and went up some stairs. We were the only people in this exhibit section and couldn't find her until we heard a boom and crying from upstairs. Whatever happened, she was fine.
We played for so long past Gwen's usual nap time. We were exhausted and at the complete end of the Preserve. Mom was dreading the walk back. We rested at the little train station hoping the train might come in the next few minutes. It did! And the conductor gave us a ride back for free. We looked wrecked and were wrecked.

Gwen joined the drum circle to help wake up the preying mantis. She liked it until the flames started shooting out. Then she just covered her eyes and kept her hands there until Mom carried her away.
