Last Week of School

It was an emotional week for everyone. There was serious frustration with just wanting to be done to good-bye sadness to extreme joy at the finish line to pride for actually accomplishing home school. Lincoln and Gwen came a long way this year.

Lincoln's writing improved and his math and reading skills took off. He did a great job making friends at school and being kind. He soaked up so much information.

Gwen stepped in as a leader and helper to Ms. Nancy in the 2's class. Her coloring skills are more precise and she is getting better at expressing her emotions and talking things out. We are sad we didn't get to hear her and her class sing God Bless America at the end of the year performance but we are so grateful to have heard it so many times in the van. So many. And so loud.

Gram-mer school is quite comfortable.

Mom drove to school at the designated time on Wednesday with the required signage in the van to get Lincoln's yearbook (and water bottle he left over spring break) and drop off his library books.

Wednesday was also Lincoln's last class Zoom. They went through each student present and displayed their certificate while the teachers said what they loved about them. Maestra Amador said that she loved Lincoln's excitement for Spanish and that he was always ready to participate and excited to learn.

Last Day of School

Lincoln walked with Mom and Pikachu to Lagos one last time as a Kindergartener.

Mom picked up Gwen's remaining school items from a table outside FOC with Ms Nancy and Ms Robyn.

Treats

Lincoln got to stay up late and play video games.
